1. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Cekie handles information in its local multiplayer game and Crew Notes. It describes the local features and the app services used alongside them. Apple and other service providers handle information under their own policies.
2. Local Game Information
Cekie processes your nickname, game settings, room code, device-to-device game state, session timing, and results needed to run a local multiplayer session. During play, room and game messages can be exchanged with participating devices on the same Wi-Fi network. Game reports, settings, and your nickname are saved on this device. The local game traffic is separate from the app's service and attribution connections described below.
Game reports or other content you choose to share are shared through the sharing option and destination you select. Please review the privacy practices of any service or recipient you choose when sharing.
3. Permissions and Crew Notes
Creating or joining a nearby room uses local network access. Motion tasks use device motion when you enable them; a touch alternative is available. Tapping Scan Room QR requests camera access to read a room code. The scanner does not save a camera photo. In Crew Notes, Apple's photo picker gives the app only the image you select. Tapping Record Voice Note requests microphone access. The text, selected photo, and recording you save in a note stay in the app's local storage; they are not sent with local game messages or Adjust events. You can decline camera or microphone access and change those permissions in iOS Settings.
You can delete an individual Crew Note. Clear Local Data is designed to remove saved notes and their media, game reports, nickname, room checks, and local preferences from this device; the app shows a message if note files could not be removed. The app marks its Crew Note folder to be excluded from device backup. If you contact us for support, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to respond and keep necessary support records.
4. App Connections and Attribution
The app connects to its configured service to obtain app configuration and determine which experience to open. This connection may send an app or installation identifier, app version, and ordinary network information. These requests are separate from nearby game messages and do not upload Crew Notes or saved media.
Cekie uses Adjust for app attribution and event measurement. Adjust may process device or app identifiers, attribution details, app version, product interactions, and diagnostic information for analytics and advertising measurement. These measurements may be linked to your device. We do not intentionally send Crew Notes, selected photos, voice recordings, or local game reports to Adjust. The app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission or intentionally use the advertising identifier.
Opening Privacy Policy or Terms of Service connects to the configured legal-page host, which can receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address and request details. Game reports leave the app only when you choose a sharing destination.
5. Retention and Security
Saved game information and Crew Notes remain on your device until you delete them with app controls, remove the app, or iOS removes the data. Information exchanged during a local session also depends on the participating devices. Service providers retain information under their own policies. Support communications are kept as reasonably needed to answer the request or meet legal obligations. We use reasonable protections, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
6. Your Choices
You can choose whether to join local sessions, use Crew Notes, share game reports, or contact support. You can remove an individual note or use Clear Local Data for the local records described above, and manage camera, microphone, and local network access in iOS Settings. 7. Children's Privacy
Cekie is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through a support request, please contact us so we can review and address the matter.
